You’ve been captured by a group of self-righteous superheroes — boring! Only one super villain can escape
Be the first player to discard all your cards and escape, leaving the others trapped!
Setup
• Shuffle the deck
• Deal 8 cards to each player
• Place the remaining cards face down in the centre as the draw pile
• Flip the top card of the draw pile face up to start the discard pile
• The player to the dealer’s left goes first
Playing the game
1. On your turn, play a card from your hand that matches the top card of the discard pile by matching one of the following:
• Villain → match the same villain/colour
• Allies → match one of that villain’s allies (e.g. captured hero, minions, evil pet, etc)
• Action → match the colour around the card edge, then resolve the action’s effect
2. You may play multiple cards at once (except when playing an action card), but all cards played that turn must be the same villain/colour
3. If you cannot play a card, draw one card from the draw pile
4. Play then passes to the next player
Rules to Remember
• The first player to discard all their cards wins the game and escapes
• You cannot win with an action card as your final card — villains never take the easy way out!
• When you play an action card, your turn ends immediately
• No chain reactions: action cards cannot be stacked or combined
• Each action card shows two villain colours — the next player chooses which villain to follow
• Allies are key — use them when you can’t play the last played villain/colour as matching an ally allows you to change the villain/colour
• You cannot play multiple ally cards just to change the villain. If you have no further cards of the villain/colour you played, your turn ends
