Players race to fill their vaults with precious gems while sabotaging rivals at every turn. Steal, block, and outwit your opponents—but watch your back, because no vault is ever truly safe

OBJECTIVE

Be the first player to collect 5 Sapphire, 5 Rubies, and 5 Emeralds

SETUP

1. Shuffle the entire deck

2. Deal 6 cards to each player

3. Place the remaining deck face down in the centre. All discarded cards during the game should be

placed face up next to the face down deck

4. The player to the dealer’s left takes the first turn

TURN STRUCTURE

Each turn has three phases

1. Draw Phase - Draw 2 cards from the deck

2. Play Phase - Play up to any 2 cards from your hand:

• Gem Cards → Place face-up into the matching vault (if unlocked)

• Action Cards → Carry out any effects of the action, and then discard the card

3. End Phase - Discard cards from your hand or pickup from the deck to end turn with 6 cards

RULES TO REMEMBER

• Each player maintains three face-up vaults: a Sapphire Vault, Ruby Vault, and Emerald Vault (we recommend arranging vaults in three columns, one per gem type)

• Gems must always match the vault type

• Players may collect more than 5 of a gem, but only 5 of each are required to win

• A locked vault remains sealed for two turns, then the Locked Vault card is discarded

• No gems can be added to or stolen from a locked vault

• Players cannot win while any of their vaults are locked

• The game ends immediately when a player collects 5 Sapphires, 5 Rubies, and 5 Emeralds (assuming a vault isn’t locked!)

• All players should have 6 cards in their hand at the start and end of each turn

• If another player causes you to have less than 6 cards in your hand, pick up from the face down deck immediately
